Dandenong Stock Market Upgrade Project

JHL is proud to announce that it has been awarded the contract to construct a 10 metre deep pumping station as part of the Dandenong Stock Market Sewer Upgrade Project on behalf of Thiess and South East Water.

The project consist JHL to construct a 3 metre diameter concrete pumping station, valve chamber and connecting pipework.  Works include all excavation, disposal, dewatering, supply & fixing of all steelwork, supply and placement of all concrete (including testing) and reinstatement works.

Elster Creek – Higgins Road & Mortimore Street Pumping Stations

Client: Thiess / South East Water
Location: Bentleigh
Start: 2012
Completion: 2013

Project Description

Construction of two 2600mm pumping stations with valve chambers at a depth of approximately 7 metres at Higgins Road and Mortimore Street Bentleigh as part of the Elster Creek South Branch Sewer Upgrade. The pumping stations were constructed via caisson method due to the significant amount of ground water.

Targets / Performance Outcomes

Safe installation of all works with no LTI’s with minimal disturbance to the public and stakeholders.

Sanctuary Lakes – Vacuum Station Upgrade

Riddells Creek Recycled Water Scheme – Pump Station and Pipeline

Client: Western Water

Project Description

Supply and installation of a pump station and pipeline (approx 4km of PE pipe in 20m lengths) at the Riddells Creek Recycled Water Plant (RWP) to provide Class C recycled water to the Riddells Creek Recreation Reserve (RCRR), a multipurpose recreational facility located in the Riddells Creek Township. In addition, the pipeline will supply two additional users, the Riddells Creek Pony Club and the Sutherlands Road sewage pump station wet well washer by providing offtake points along the pipeline alignment.

Provision of Recycled Wastewater to Marty Busch Reserve

Client: City of Ballarat
Location: Sebastopol, Victoria

Project Description

Supply and construction of pump station, electrical works and PE pipeline to supply Marty Busch with recycled wastewater.

Targets / Performance

The wastewater irrigation scheme has the capacity to deliver 300 KL of water per day (40 megalitres per annum) and will save Council tens of thousands of dollars a year in water costs. It will also cut reliance on potable (drinking) water which is unavailable when water restrictions are in force.
